Finally, a place for sport pilot instructors and/or wannabees to talk about instructing.

Student Pilot Cert

Post by HAPPYDAN »

I picked this up from another forum, and thought it might be of interest to CFI's. According to others, the "new process" may be experiencing some growing pains (a Government process with growing pains - NAH! Can't be! )

I've walked two students through the process since 1 April, and (assuming you know your way around IACRA) it's relatively painless. For those of you experiencing IACRAmony, go to eaa.org/webinars, do a keyword search for IACRA, and watch my webinar on the subject.

How long has the wait been for your students to receive their certificates?

They only filed the IACRA forms last week. The estimate was 3 weeks, so ask me again in 2.
