Sticker Shock.

"If your aircraft was more popular and larger numbers it might be a few dollars less or if it was included in a larger fleet of rental aircraft the per aircraft rate might be lower, but in this situation about the only way to lower the rate is lower the value. But just lowering the value will not always save you a lot of money."

For instruction and rental about $7K.

Next call was to Avemco, took my name and NAFI number and when I told him it would be in my LSA airplane he said...sorry, no program for that.

I had expected about $5K. Any suggestions?

Check with EAA insurance plan. I pay just under $5k for 1 million liability and $85k hull, instruction and rental.

Denise can insure anything. She even insures homebuilt gyroplanes for dual.
