First Sport Pilot Cross-country

Finally, a place for sport pilot instructors and/or wannabees to talk about instructing.

First Sport Pilot Cross-country

Post by RyanShort1 »

Ok, so really this shouldn't be that big of a deal, but I finally got my first Sport Pilot student cross-country off today. I've had plenty of other students, but this is the SP student that's gotten the farthest along so far and he did well today. His landing wasn't the best I've seen him do, but he wast trying for a soft-field landing and not having the extra weight in the plane threw him off a bit. Otherwise, great job!

I think he's on track to take a checkride within a few weeks and under 30 hours.
