Hi guys,
Great to see the forum back up. One of the things I would like to do with my aircraft is fly it south into Mexico and North into Canada occasionally. I wonder how many of you would be comfortable making that trip in an LSA and which LSA would you chose. I know those Indian Air Force pilots just flew around the world in a CTSW, but I am asking about an average private pilot doing international flying.
International flight in a LSA?

Right now, I do not believe you can fly an LSA in Canada, but when I was there a little more than a year ago, they had a committee looking at adopting LSA from our rules verbatim, and that would lilely solve the issue. You might be able to get some sort of special permit now, using the rules for experimentals.
Practice filing and closing flight plans before you go up there though, they are pretty big on doing both.
