True, Tom (but probably worse for the alligator that for the pilot).

Well, wouldn’t want to find out, that’s for sure...

At least the worst we can expect here is beaver infested lakes and , if you are really unlucky, an occasional angry raccoon - and in winter it doesn’t matter anyway since most lakes are frozen and are like landing strips ...

Face it ShawN ... there is no hiding it , Florida is just a bad place all around ... :D

Not good for anyone. I remember in the news last year a mother and a couple kids being killed when their car hit one that was crossing the road.

Better that than retirees who forget how to fly!
We have these too but they are fewer and farther between. I see pilots flying left pattern on the one runway we have which is a right pattern all the time.

It is, I even forgot about the sinkholes you mentioned, the county north of me (Pasco County) is known as the sinkhole capital of the world. Things are getting swallowed there all the time without notice.

Everyone please do yourself a favor and stay away for your own safety and that of your airplane.

I'll look you up Paul when I get there on Friday.

Oh yeah, and the sharks, let us not forget about the sharks.
New Smyrna Beach just south of Daytona is the shark bite capital of the world.

Safe travels to those coming down to Sebring. :D

Maybe everyone check in that they’re OK?

I just saw news about 5 killed in a shooting at a Sebring bank. Kinda close to “home”.

Thanks for asking, Eddie. I'm safe. The news of the shooting circulated on the airport, but there is no indication that anyone here for Expo was involved.
