To me :) Trailering an aircraft is about pushing your car everywhere instead of driving it. I DO intend to make two Florida trips in the Mini. One to Trenton to the Mosquito fly-in and to SNF. Let's keep our fingers crossed that this new gearbox will be flawless. The little Ring & Pinion set me back $1700.00. Arrow gear was the fabricator.

I know Dwight and have been to the Trenton event many times in the past. If you drove by the factory you'd swear it was just another farm in the country. A lot of the RW guys have trailers so they can travel in their RV and tow the helicopter with them. Best of both worlds I guess.

Beautiful gears, the RW turbine used a Winters rear end.

Just glad you now have a fuel gauge and hopefully you added this to your checklist so no more close calls.

There are certain item on my short IMPORTANT list
Fuel
Oil
Fuel ON and On Fullest Tank
Canopy latched

Of course these have to be modified to fit the aircraft as well as conditions but these are beyond what is on the checklist.

Whenever someone else is doing something to the aircraft, I double check it!

These are all things I have learned first hand.

My feelings on proficiency and age are that they present a goal to be achieved. Dual is good for this if a Flight Review doesn't satisfy me. If I can't live up to my expectations, then I will not do it.
