SportPilotTalk Policy on Politics

Post by admin »

Dear SportPilotTalk Members -

In recent days we have seen an increase of political views here on the forum. This is not the place to discuss politics. Let's leave that to Facebook, Twitter or other platforms that do not relate to why SportPilotTalk.com was created - to allow for discussion about the sport pilot certificate and light-sport aircraft. Regardless of political view we share a common interest and let's use that to build camaraderie and promote affordable aviation. On politics we can agree to disagree. Therefore any post that expresses political views will be deleted. Also please refrain from insults, attacks and other uncivil commentary that has become all too common in our society.

Thank you for your cooperation,

Thanks for stepping in, Gerald. That needed to be said (but was above my pay grade).

What about pictures of aircraft with aircraft insignia on them? I.e., Communist Red Star, US Star in circle with bars, German Iron Cross, British roundel, etc...

In my opinion, insignia on aircraft in no way represent a political statement. At most, they are an historical reference.
