Well, 595L has a new owner as of this past Saturday. It was an absolutely gorgeous day to fly in North Texas with light winds and blue skies. I ferried the plane 90 miles north, taking the long way and turning a 50 minute flight into 90 to enjoy every minute of my last Sting flight. The gods were smiling on me as my last landing was picture perfect and so smooth you didn't even notice the touchdown.
My mission now includes IMC cross country so will be transitioning to a Cirrus. I sat in a SR22 cockpit today and it was really comfortable and roomy but somehow it feels cramped compared to my old bubble canopy Sting. I'm going to miss the freedom I felt in the Sting when joyflighting in the area although I will enjoy the comfort of a cross-country cruiser going forward.
Bittersweet.

Is the new owner a member here? If not, urge him/her. I like having other Sting owners to chat with
