Herb Gone West

Post by cam737 »

Herb Kelleher, Southwest Airlines founder (and my boss), has passed away. He created an amazing airline and he was absolutely hilarious! A toast of Wild Turkey would be appropriate in memory of Herb!

God Bless you Herb! Thank You!

I can see him now . . . riding off into the sunset . . . on that Harley . . . which the Southwest employees gifted him.
He was a class act for sure . . . one of a kind. Rest in peace, Herb.

Didn’t know the man but always marveled at Southwest’s rise.

Must be doing something right.

When I fly as a passenger in an aluminum tube, SWA has been my first choice carrier for the past couple of decades.

R.I.P., Herb. What a class act.

Same here, my girlfriend and I only fly SWA unless we have no other choice. A great airline for sure.

I recently read a story about him that when he started SWA he knew NOTHING about the airline business and that's what made him different than the other major carriers. He came up with a brand new concept for an airline. Godspeed Herb.
