At the speed of the FAA, changes are coming. Would values of our LSA airplanes likely go down while legacy a/c that would fit the new criteria go up?
I guess it's a good thing. Opens up more a/c and more pilots to get back in the air sans medical.
Thoughts?
My apologies if this has been brought up in another thread. It was announced at OSH this year.
"Major changes to Light Sport weight restrictions are about two years away and the new rules will capture many legacy training and personal aircraft, EAA Chairman Jack Pelton announced on Monday. In a news conference at AirVenture"
