Got home yesterday evening after 9 glorious days of conducting trams. This year I have 'proof' I was there.. I had the distinct good fortune of being selected and filmed by the EAA video folk and am 'featured' at the beginning and about the 5:45 mark at the end of their video on volunteering.

Randy,

I rode your tram at least once, but they were normally a wee packed so I walked a lot.

Yeah, I am guilty too - once, I rode some kind of tram ... it was a godsend , when I was going back from the Ultralight field after having quite substantial lunch there ...

I always ask if there are any 1st timers to AirVenture on my tram - if there are I always say "It's a whole lot bigger than you thought it would be, isn't it?"

When not on duty I wander the grounds to learn where things are so I can tell my passengers. You can indeed burn up a pair of sneakers schlepping from Warbirds to Ultralights - lol
