I posted this a few weeks ago to a couple other forums, but talking with Flocker and hirschr Saturday I think I neglected to post it here:

Karen and I are in Lake Placid, FL to pick up our travel trailer and bring it back up north.

I taught my friend, Tom, to fly in my Citabria around 1980, and we've stayed friends ever since.

In the winter he relocates from MI to FL with his Mooney, and lives with his wife in an apartment built into his hangar there. The grass strip adjoining his house is Kings Port (FD72).

Anyway, its a 1966 model that he's added a turbo to. Hard to believe it will be 50 years old next year!
