I know we had a thread on this, but couldn't find it.
This weekend's drone issues are mind boggling. Drone at 8500' ? Fying right over a Southwest flight at 4000', while the flight was landing at LAX?
NBC News just reported on 5 incidents over this past weekend.
Why is the FAA not taking this things seriously?

IMHO, the FAA, just like other federal agencies, is waiting for guidance from the executive administration on how to move forward on the issue. Probably needs more study.BrianL99 wrote:I know we had a thread on this, but couldn't find it.

Re: Drones
Remember when "drones" were called "RC aircraft"?
Ah, those were the days.

As a model flyer the misuse of the term "Drone" really irks me. The idiots are going to ruin what used to be a good hobby for many people.MrMorden wrote:Remember when "drones" were called "RC aircraft"?
