Great way to start 2015!

Post by rezaf_2000 »

I started the new year by having fun in 15 knots, gusting to 21 crosswinds at 60 degrees, doing almost 2 hours of touch and goes. What a way to start 2015!

Happy new year everyone, may 2015 bring many hours of aviating to you 8)

And happy new year to you, Reza. I went out to the airport yesterday, intending to fly, and was greeted by 18G31. So, I stayed on the ground.

The weather in the North East has been horrible for flying since the end of November.
I'm so wracked by cabin fever, I built a rubber band powered ornithopter to fly in the house. It makes me feel better, but it's driving my wife crazy.
Now I'm trying to figure out how to convert it to LiPo power and radio control.

Gonna get COLD from Colorado east to Virginia and Minnesota south to Texas over the next week. Polar Vortex. If your plane is out, you better get it covered.

Seems like there's crummy weather everywhere. I guess nobody's flying!
