Foreign Forums?

Post by jnmeade »

Can anyone share non U.S. sport or recreational flying forums? I'd like to see what others have to say about light airplane flying. Their techniques, maintenance issues and solutions.
Even if it is not in English.

TIA

I know of none offhand, Jim, but I've just sent a query to Jan Fridrich, chairman of LAMA Europe. If he responds, I'll post that info here.
The opinions posted are those of one CFI, and do not necessarily represent the FAA or its lawyers.

http://www.recreationalflying.com.au/ is also the first one I thought of. Good group of folks - met some of them when living in Brisbane last year - and some of what they fly is familiar to most of us - both imported a/c from the USA and also Jabirus, which they make and we see over here.

There's also a Yahoo Group dedicated to Pipistrel a/c that is international in flavor but focused mostly on that brand.

Thanks to all. I looked at each and will check them out from time to time.

Does anyone know of a German or Austrian site?
