I have the pleasure of spending quite a bit of time in Nashville on business each month and, although, I enjoy the fun of commercial flights (sarcasm intended ), thought I might cruise in here every once in awhile on my own.
I'm comfortable going in/out Class C airports such as Tulsa, Abilene and Lubbock but generally prefer the ease (and usually lower cost) of reliever airports. I also feel a bit in the way at airports with scheduled service when I chop the power to glide on base to final at around 50 kts with a shiny RJ entering downwind.
Any of you southern LSA flyers have a favorite airport in the Nashville area that are LSA friendly or, at least, GA friendly? Looks like KJWN, M88, KMQY and, of course, KBNA are the likely candidates. Any place close by with 92 octane mogas?
thanks,
Nashville Airport for transient S-LSA

Symrna, Lebanon and Murfreesboro each have a EAA chapter.
Mogas is not readily available but it shown to be available in Jasper TN or Murray, Ky.
I work out of Dickson, TN and we don't have mogas but I could loan you some five gallon cans for the local gas station. Most of the Tennesee stations are up to 10 percent alcohol, although I think the local Trike pilot says there is one station that does not have alcohol.
Hope this helps.
