Re: Best Sport Pilot "system" for the new student?

I used the Sporty's online course and did just fine the test. But, I have also heard many pilots provide positive feedback for the Gleim pilot training program as well.

Good luck!

Re: 10 mile final....

I was taught and always fly a pattern as indicated (R or L) using the 45º entry point on downwind. I have the following link i...

A shout out to Neil at Paradise Air (KVRB)

A shout out to Neil at Paradise Air (KVRB)....THANK YOU! I had to fly in to KVRB as my destination, X26, was under a passing cell. Neil was very helpful and placed my girl in his hangar until the weather passed.

Congratulations! Other than that first solo many moons ago definitely the second most memorable moment for me.
Enjoy the experience. Not that you asked but, I share only ONE suggestion.....Focus on being SAFE.

Great instructor in Tampa...

For those looking for an instructor in Florida. During my 40 years of flying I have flown with quite a few instructors. I can share that all have contributed to the pilot I am today. But, just a few years ago I met Dave Fisher a CFII, teaching in a SportsCruiser out of his new home located at KVDF (...
