Re: Dual xcountry 2 hour requirement, how far ?

OK. Thank you again.
I will go to (KEFD), Galveston, TX, Class D, with my instructor.
Make a full stop and return. That is 26 NM , one way.
Plus I will get endorsed for 'Controlled' airspace training.

Re: Dual xcountry 2 hour requirement, how far ?

Thank you all for the replies,
I will assume , I can fly to another field, touch and go, and return, with my backseater.
And that is a dual , 'Sport Pilot' cross-country, training flight.
I just have to log at least 2.0 hours or more of those.

Dual xcountry 2 hour requirement, how far ?

Is there a minimum, nautical mileage
distance, one way, required to meet this training
requirement ? ( As in ' Private' , which demands more than a 50 NM trip, from base ) .
FAR 61.313 (a)(1)(I)
Thank you

Renters insurance required ?

Do I need current non-owner renters insurance, if a DPE is my backseater during a checkride ?
Assuming my previous policy had expired
prior to the checkride.
Or is that the owners decision ?
Thank you.
