My question is, As an example; I begin LSA pilot training in a Cub. I have accumulated 10 hours dual. 2 hours solo. The airplane is no longer available, the instructor has moved away . Can I continue training in a Remos LSA . With only 5 hours dual left to satisfy the FAR, and 3 hours solo ? Or, do ...

Check ride in an American Legend Cub
Has anyone completed a check ride in an American Legend Cub ? Pass ? Fail? Why? Is there a alot of emphasis placed on cross country planning? Diversion, ( ETE to alternate ) fuel burn, ground speed, etc. What about sloppy landing roll outs ( too much over correcting on the pedals ) ? Failed ? Thank ...

I will go to (KEFD), Galveston, TX, Class D, with my instructor.
Make a full stop and return. That is 26 NM , one way.
Plus I will get endorsed for 'Controlled' airspace training.

Once my Sport CFIII, endorses my 'OK' , to take the written.
Is there an expiration date by which I must comply with?
I know my FAA student certificate has an expiration date.

I will assume , I can fly to another field, touch and go, and return, with my backseater.
And that is a dual , 'Sport Pilot' cross-country, training flight.
I just have to log at least 2.0 hours or more of those.

Is there a minimum, nautical mileage
distance, one way, required to meet this training
requirement ? ( As in ' Private' , which demands more than a 50 NM trip, from base ) .

Do I need current non-owner renters insurance, if a DPE is my backseater during a checkride ?
Assuming my previous policy had expired
