Re: Upset recovery training
I'm thinking about enrolling in an upset recovery and spin recovery training course to improve my skills. Does anyone have any advice for doing this or recommendations for courses in or near Northern California? If I book a course with a Pitts Special or a Super Decathlon will the skills transfer t...

Re: Does anyone know a good avionics technician in north Florida (+500 miles)?
. . . . I am looking for someone who can update my GRT system to the latest version. I already have the new device and it needs to be installed. I am based in Jax, FL but I can also fly 500-600 miles. That's a perfect project for Jesse. Marion County Airport (X35) (352) 427-0285 jesse@saintaviation...

Re: Pandemic Precautions
The pandemic will be over with on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. So much to unpack from that pretty straightforward assertion, but this is hardly the place for that. Good news is in just a few weeks the validity of that statement will be tested, and we’ll all get to see if it was accurate o...

Re: Comparing S-LSA to E-LSA insurance rates
How about applying some logic to the situation? The S-LSA must be maintained in accordance with published specs and data, using factory-supplied manuals and procedures. All the maintenance and inspections must be performed by a licensed mechanic (LSR-M, A&P, or A&P/IA). That means the risks...

. . . . at least theoretically, there is a greater risk involved with a plane that could have been potentially modified in ways that don't necessarily promote safety . . . Can you provide us some verifiable data which supports your assertion? How about applying some logic to the situation? The S-LS...
