Towered Airport Endorsement

To make a long story short.....Started my PPL training at a Class D Airport in a Cessna 172. Did around 21 hours including a solo cross country talking to a tower. Decided I wanted to go the sport route, had all the "requirements" knocked out, finished up and received my SP certificate at ...

Does DPE have to be a “Sport” DPE????

Hoping someone can clarify something for me. I’m about ready to take my practical. I’m flying a CTLS. Does the DPE have to be a “Sport” DPE or can any DPE who is willing to give the exam in the CTLS do my practical test??

Also, need some references, like something from the FAA website.

Cross Country requirement

Or is it just pilotage and dead reckoning for navigation?? I am a private pilot student transitioning my hours to a SPL. I did one...
