Pipistrel has some LSA's that have a high glide ratio. If you were to rent one, fly up to the hills, turn off the engine and soar for a while then return to the airport using the engine how would they calculate the hours rented?

There is a company, Letsfly.com, that uses the four-plex model for airplane ownership. One person owns the plane and the other pay for using it. Plane & Pilot magazine had an article about them.

Can a light sport pilot legally fly over the Grand Canyon?
Can a light sport pilot legally fly over the Grand Canyon? I know you must stay below 10,000 feet or 2,000 feet above the terrain and also 2,000 feet above national parks and the North Rim is above 8,000. ?????
