PARACHUTE REPACK & NEW ROCKET
I installed a Magnum BRS in my 2007 REMOS G3/600 in 2015. I need a new rocket and a parachute repack. Any suggested vendors?

Re: Soft Start Conversion - flywheel or no flywheel
I installed a pair of soft-start modules in June, along with the Y cable (and no flywheel change). Cost around $2k, and required only about an hour of labor. Super easy start now. No kickback, vibration, or stumbling. I wish I had done this years ago! ditto. I did mine recently. No flywheel convers...

Re: 912 ULS HARD START, ROUGH RUN
Big improvement for me. My old modules must have been failing for a while.

Re: 912 ULS HARD START, ROUGH RUN
The 2 modules and "y" wire was a little over $1800. She did not charge me tax because I live outside Florida and shipping was free. 2 day shipping. Good luck. Ernie

Re: 912 ULS HARD START, ROUGH RUN
I checked out the ignition switch and it works properly. Did the heat gun in the B module and the engine started and ran OK. I will order new soft start modules. Thanks for all your help.

Re: 912 ULS HARD START, ROUGH RUN
SI-912-028 says I have a type "C" engine which requires replacing the Flywheel Hub. Is there any advantage replacing the modules with the easy start modules and not replacing the hub. I would rather wait until gearbox inspection time to replace the hub Thoughts?

Re: 912 ULS HARD START, ROUGH RUN
Paul, I'll do the heat gun test and probably order the soft start modules and y cable. Do they come with connection instructions? Is there a procedure in a ROTAX manual?

Re: 912 ULS HARD START, ROUGH RUN
Are replacing with the CDI Soft Start modules straight forward "plug and play" or is their installation more complicated than just replacing "in kind"?

Re: 912 ULS HARD START, ROUGH RUN
Thanks Paul. Do you recommend sending then in first to be tested by Lockwood first or just order new ones?

912 ULS HARD START, ROUGH RUN
My 2007 REMOS G3/600 with a 912 ULS (~ 900 hrs) is getting hard to start. After starting. it runs rough for a couple of minutes and then it smooths out and picks up some rpm. That is because it starts on the Left Mag only (with the ignition switch on both mags). I know this because if I switch to th...
