I'm am interested to know if any of you have any experience with doing leasebacks to a flight school.

If so I would like to know what your experience was like.

It can be a great way to reduce your cost of ownership on an airplane. With just a few hours per week of rental income, it can pay for itself.

On the downside..."your" airplane is now being flown by other people. Will they keep it clean and baby it like you do? Probably not. You have to set the tone for the school of what your expectations of care are.

It can be good, or it can be depressing. It all depends upon what you want and need from the deal.
