| Curious to see how many people are going to Sebring. We will be there for a few days. Flying down in a 182/RG and picking up a Sierra to fly back. |

I'll be there. Will be coming in my new (to me) CTSW. Have about 20 hours on it so far. Only about 42 minutes flying time away since I live in the West Palm Beach area.

| I will be there on Saturday, driving from Tampa. Hope to meet some of you there. Someone I know locally will be at the Seaplanes/Amphib's so I'll be over there and all over I guess. |

We went down Thursday. I was planning on flying a 182/RG but the weather didn't cooperate. We ended up flying into Tampa and driving over. On the way home we picked up a new Tecnam Sierra. We picked up the Sierra at 2:30 pm on Sunday in Atlanta. We made the 500 plus mile trek home to Bay Bridge Airport near Annapolis. 2 hours of the flight was after night. The outside temp was bitter but the plane handled it well. It was a little chilly but definitely bearable.
When we landed, I put my bottle of water on the wing to unload the plane. Within 5 minutes, the top half of the bottle was frozen!
As for Sebring, it was a good show but the weather was bad. Very little flying was done. I will post more about my experience at the show later. |

Sebring was a unique event. the weather was awful. between high winds, low clouds, strong storms and up and down temps, there was not very chances to fly.
The crowd was very nice. Pleasant people, focused on aviation, looking for what is new and exciting and willing to talk and share their opinions and expectations.
The number of new planes was a surprise. There were some suspect planes and some really nice stuff too.
The seminars appeared to be very well attended. Lots of vendors to chat up and learn from.
I met a couple of our members at the booth. THANKS for coming by! |

| Yeah, it was great! The weather was bad Saturday; driving from Tampa I couldn't see more than a few hundred feet at times! By noon it was clearing up but there were winds. People were saying there was a wider variety of aircraft this year than in previous years. Cessna had the Skycatcher there. People were all over it. |

One interesting thing about the cessna flyswatter;
Cessna hired deputies in uniform and in plain clothes to cover their booth, as they were expecting protests. One of the deputies was telling me about the level of paranoia there. |

John, now that you mention it, I did notice there were quite a number of Cessna people (or what appeared to be Cessna people) at that booth. I mean, at other booths there might be one or two people from that company, but at Cessna there were at least 8 or 9, maybe more in plain clothes, for the two planes on display.
Also, I heard them saying that the particular Skycatcher that was there was NOT made in China; it was made here. Apparently someone had asked them about that. |

| Yeah I was there, the weather wasn't that great. But there were a bunch of planes to see. And of course there was the race cars at the track. |
