I am sportstar owner power by 100 hp engine but really interested change my engine due heavy weight also low Cruise speed(85knot).
prefer use 130hp engine limbach from Germany or Jabiru 3300cc 120hp .
Please let me know if any one have any same experience or idea which help to decide to do it or not in case of change which one will suite for sportstar ?

| Have you researched how fast the 130 will take you, is it in LSA limits, or are you flying with a PPL, may just have to watch your VNe. I think the VNe is 20% lower than what is stated, maybe not tho. |

| As I understand it, in order to remain a legal S-LSA the manufacturer must approve any changes. |
