It's been pretty quiet so I thought I'd throw out a question. As an airplane-challenged person (as in no immediate access to one) I like to enjoy a bit of day dreaming about flights I'd like to take for the pure joy of the experience, scenery etc. I'm sure others must do the same. So how about it, given some time and money, what's on your short list.
I'll start:
Hudson River Valley,
Grand Canyon
California Coast (basically along the coast highway)
Shenandoah Valley when it's clear (not very often, that's more or less my stomping grounds!)
In keeping with the spirit of the board, lets keep to SP possible flights in an LSA like plane.

This brings up the subject of a SP flying in Canada. I don't think that's possible without getting some sort of medical. It'd be great though. I love Montreal and would like to visit Ontario, PEI and Newfoundland. |

| You can fly SLSA into Canada or Mexico with a PP license. You can even fly an LSA into Mexico with a SP lic. so long as you go out and get a 3rd. class medical. |

Which brings up another question. If you have a PP or better, but fly under SP rules (expired medical) can you fly in Canada?

| My interpretation of the rules is that PP or above with expired medical can fly internationally. The only reason a SP can't is that he or she hasn't received training required by ICAO. The PP or above has, hence his or her airman certificate bears no such restriction. |

My experience is that the Canadians don't check anything when you you land there. When you return to the states, customs check your passport, pilot license and medical (expired or not) and sniff your airplane for radiation. I like your intrepretation Paul.
