Does anyone know of, or have seen, an interactive map with places where one can rent an LSA? I was thinking that with as few LSA rentals as there appear to be, that we ought to try and put together a map so that folks could find places to rent one.

Ryan, I think your idea is an excellent one: an 'LSA Rental Clearinghouse' of sorts. It's also illustrates how the 'LSA Industry' is failing to work collaboratively (perhaps due to the low demand and high competition for sales right now) for everyone's mutual benefit. Surely they too realize this need exists.

Moreover, this also illustrates the kind of helpful, useful things this website could be doing, which in turn would only make it more valuable and encourage advertising & revenue. But with an owner that only sees it as a commodity he'd like to sell, such opportunities lapse into the 'good idea bin'. When I look at the bountiful advertising that's present on the VAF forum - and the fact the forum even employs its own webmaster, at a decent salary - it shows me what's actually possible.

The FIRM list is not comprehensive, and it's far out of date. Completely useless, actually.

I found that Bing and Google do a good enough job. That's how I found the Ocean Air in Watsonville, who are a major center for Tecnam (they were going to get the twin this past October).

Yeah, I know.. that's always the problem with "lists", that are generated and kept up to date by the list-ees. :(
