| When did Google Earth add a flight simulator? You can use the keyboard or add a joystick. Not even close to MS FS or X-Plane but still cool. Real terrain pics. |

I was told on another forum that it is a good tool for VFR as a familiarization of the terrain. May be great for pilots flying to areas they are not familir with.
My son recently passed his Sport Pilot. I remember going to Google Earth to show him the airports and terrain he was going to see, but we didn't use the simulator mode. |
