Hi,

Somewhere I was reading that there are a list of 6-7 airports that are simply restricted from sport pilots flying into (except the obvious emergency), but I can't find that list in the FAR/AIM anywhere, nor can I seem to stumble across it online.

Am I making this up? I know airports such as Charlotte Douglas, DCA, and ATL are on the list...

That's correct, Skunk. (12 airports, actually.) I have them listed at http://avsport.org/askdr/index.html#airports. Ref: 14 CFR §91.131(b)(2).

Thanks Dr. Paul!

Hurricane was avoided by all that I'm aware of, we put everything in the hanger up at LHZ and only hit 35 mph wind -- not even enough to fly an LSA backwards...
