| Hi everyone, just got my first ride on an amphibian LSA and love it. I like to start by building my own design so I hope I'M in the right place for help and encouragement. I have been in the car replica building business for a long time and have some skills check this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olJwXIQgJ24 Don't know anything about building a plane do. Planing in to joining the local EAA in the next meeting to start getting in touch with the industry. Any advice will help thanks. Orlando M. |

Hello, Orlando...and welcome to the forum. We may have a lot to learn - and enjoy - from hearing about your efforts. And the EAA is one good place to start.
It sounds like you have some excellent, relevant skills for building your own a/c...but don't overlook the seriously complex nature of designing an a/c, and the also complex nature of test flying it before the basics of its flight envelope are understood. |
