Keeping good records is for your benefit in more ways than one and can pay dividends later or keep poor records and pay.
Her's an article by Carol Carpenter of Rainbow Aviation.
I'm seeing way to many logbooks that are just trash and barely pass for legal. Keep good detailed records. After 30 years of being around the legal system I will tell you unequivocally that if you didn't write it down you didn't do it and you can really prove otherwise.
Protect yourself, the mechanic and even your family from losing money when you sell your plane or get tangled in a lawsuit.
Document. (It isn't a bad word)
