Hi Guys,

I'm a newbie to the forum, and am trying to find a SP instructor (+ plane!) in the lowcountry of South Carolina near to Charleston. I have tried many different ways to locate an instructor and was wondering if you guys had any leads?

Thanks in advance,
MH

Check out the EAA website's LSA section, at http://sportpilot.org/. Their "Find An Instructor" link lists 14 in South Carolina, including one right in Charleston.

Seven Rivers Aviation in Georgetown (GGE) is actively considering adding an LSA to the flight line and offering sport pilot training. No firm decision yet, but you might want to let them know of your interest. Call Barry at 843-527-7516.

Not so close, but MintAir at Greenville Downtown (GMU) is a Flight Design dealer and does training in CTLS's. http://flymintair.com/

I already did, and emailed/called all the people on the list. All of them no longer instruct to SP, sadly.

Thanks, I'll call Seven Rivers tomorrow. Greenville is 3 hours away, too far for multiple lessons per week.....

Thanks for the tip!!
