Anybody had a chance to look inside or fly this plane?
Any impressions?
A chubby-looking 100kts-cruising Czech all-metal low-wing design with slide-forward canopy and seemingly smallish rudder - but "americanized" Skyview 7" version starts at $102,000 at CorbiAir...

| This is a cute little airplane! IIRC, I think the plane can also be equipped with control yokes instead of joysticks. However, I don't see it on the website being equipped with yokes. Is it still true that the DirectFly Alto can be equipped with control yokes? |

I wonder if they offer this in kit form, it'd be awesome if they did. :D |

As far as I can tell it is indeed a kit plane, recently certified as S-LSA by CorbiAir(?)... Kits should be available...

Yay, hopefully that'll cut down on the cost of it. I wonder how it handles. |

You know, on the Pricing page, it says
Quote: Our focus was to develop a niche market aircraft with a flyaway price of $10,000 to $15,000 under the current market for Flight School Aircraft.
http://www.flyalto.com/pricing.html
Is that $10k to $15k for the aircraft itself, is that the USD price, what is the context for the $10k to $15k price? |

That is .. 10K to 15K under the current (LSA) flight school aircraft .. or a Piper Sport, Ramos, etc.. which come in at $135,000 to $140K ... our Alto is $110K to $115K ..
We are actively looking for dealers .. I see you are in NC .. |

Looks more like AA-1 to me than Cherokee. Cherokee has a real door, albeit only one, and main gear attached to wing spar, same as Musketeer, while BD-1 and AA-1 have the same self-sprung main gear as Alto. At least they did not try to make wings identical, judging by 3-views.
