No not a Virus for your PC. This looks like a CT. Very few plans can carry their own weight. This is similar to the Lightning that had to be slowed down to meet LSA speeds. (lightning was originally designed to a higher MTOW also).
This won NASA CAFE awards.
Here's a couple of interesting links.
Compare the original mode (you need convert KM to KT)

to this the LSA model

'looks like a nice plane, with great specs. Does anyone else think the tail looks to be at risk of ground strikes? Even with it just taxiing, the tail bobbles pretty close to the ground. 'just wondering.
I guess the tail-dragger version would fix that!
Here's a nice video... wow, the Euro version claims 170Mph at 4.7 gph.

-note the inverted flying at the end of the low fly-by.
And check out this extreme flying... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPep1MHJX3s |

It does look interesting. I posted it to arouse interest and comments.
We have seen many LSA manufacturers drop out of the market. Some have never gotten off the ground (as a company). I checked out their dealer network. Some of them didn't even have an email address or company name listed. What about service centers and parts? It is certainly a plane to watch.
I agree the tail looks a bit low. There is also still a lot of missing data, i.e. crosswind performance. I couldn't find a POH online.
It is also a bit pricey the 77000 euro is for an absolutely stripped plane. They even list things like a baggage door as options. Configured similar to a CT or Remos it is just as expensive. But I'll bet you could cut a deal if you were to take such a risk. |
