| This Saturday is forecasted to be very nice weather. We are hosting another Fall picnic. In partnership with the local EAA chapters, we are offering Young Eagle flights. The Searey will be arriving on Friday and we will start with the build days very soon. You should also come checkout the Auto-Gyro MTO Sport. (We can't offer demo flights in an Auto-Gyro yet but it will likely be flying!). Checkout the website for the Young Eagles information www.chesapeakesportpilot.com. |

It was, indeed, a wonderful day for a fall picnic and fly-in at Bay Bridge Airport. It was a very well attended event and the Young Eagles Program introduced the Wonders of Flight to about two dozen youngsters.
I flew down in my Ercoupe with a buddy of mine who was interested in the Tecnam airplanes. The Ercoupe sure did attract a lot of attention - likely because it is a true antique and is in beautiful condition.
The SeaRey kit was being uncrated and was certainly a center of attention. What was also nice was the three other (flying) SeaReys that arrived.
Thank you, Chesapeake Sport Pilot, for a fun, entertaining and educational day. I am already looking forward to the next one. |
