|
|
Well, I signed the PO for a P2008.
Some of you may remember I had a refundable deposit on a TL Sirius 3000 last winter but decided to pass.
The P2008 has been shipped from tecnam italy and should be delivered to tecnam north america soon. They will install the options and avionics I want with an expected delivery of mid December.
I believe they have two P2008s being shipped, the other one is not sold yet. These will be the first production P2008s in the US. With the economy the way it is I may be crazy but hopefully things will come around.
Any suggestions from those of you who have purchased an LSA? or even if you have not purchased an LSA?

Hi Jake,
Come on over to www.ctflier.com
You can get any info you need and help there about anything LSA. Take a look and ask a question and I'm sure you'll get the help and info you want. |

Congratulations Jake...
I am just wondering what were some of the considerations to make the switch from the Sirius? |

The overall fit and finish was alot better on the tecnam.
I hope the fit and finish of the actual production P2008 is as good or better than the demo I flew.
Also the flight controls seemed more to my liking.
I would be happy to give more details if you pm me.

| I have not had an opportunity to fly a Technam but the 2008 that I saw in Suffolk this spring looked like a sports car. I don't think you are going to be disapointed. Good on ya :D |

| Be sure you get the Reiff pre-heater option. I just had one installed on my Bravo last week, and it does a good job of getting the oil temp up into the yellow before engine start. |
