My instructor has scheduled my check ride for Tuesday morning. I am excited and a little nervous, but I know that I am prepared. I will be cleared to fly solo to the DPE at KGIF and will take the practical with Charles Brown of Jack Brown Seaplanes. I am actually looking forward to this next phase.

Good luck with your ride. Chuck is a great guy, nail your x-country, know your checkpoints and be prepared to divert to an alternate. He is also a big safety guy so use your checklist. My plane is hangered at KGIF, I think it is a great little airport

Chuck isn't having me do a cross country per say. He is using my trip from SRQ to GIF as my cross country. I am looking forward to this phase and completing it successfully.

Thanks Phil. I wish I could have made arrangements to see your Lightning. I am seriously thinking of building one in Shelbyville. I must say that the Remos was a dream and she treated me well.
