Well after months of training I am officially a pilot. Passed my sport
pilot checkride this morning with winds 10g18. I really enjoyed the
experience and look forward to many wonderful flights.

Just passed my checkride Sat. 10/09/10 in Oshkosh WI in a Remos GX. The examiner was a great guy and I enjoyed the whole learning process at Orion Flight Services. I have my first passengers lining up for rides. To anyone who's been putting the dream off for years like I had... quit dreaming and just get it started!

Well guys, I've been extremely busy lately with work and also moving
into a new home but I have managed to get some flying in. I took my
wife up on a short flight from Kism to Kgif for a danish and coffee. The
flight was uneventful with perfect flying weather.
Since all of my flying was in a Remos GX, I decided to get checked out in
a piper sport. I must say I really prefer the piper over the remos. The
piper handles extremely well and the visibility from the cockpit is outstanding. I can't wait to fly it again.

Jcable,

Chuck was my DPE as well. It was much different than I was expecting, but it was also more relaxing. KGIF was a fun airport to fly in and out of.

I passed my check ride on the 12th of Oct in a Remos G-3/600 that I am part owner of, but prior to that I had 33hrs in a Sport Cruiser. I agree that they are great airplanes. I would really like to fly the Lightning to compare with.

It is nice to hear from pilots that their checkrides were enjoyable as they should be.
