There were other planes in the normal operational pattern. He actually took off on a perpendicular cross runway, which he really shouldn't have done with so many other aircraft around. 200' would have kept him under other traffic. Other traffic was using runway 12 and he opted to use 03 against the other pattern. To me there were too many bad choices.
If no one was around at all and he had the airport all to himself a 200' pattern wouldn't really be a problem. This airport is only 18 miles north of me. I fly in and out of there constantly. |

I can see making a low pass over the rwy for a video, but flying the entire pattern less than 200 ft AGL? I don't think so. Something happened with the acft and he was trying to get it back on the deck would be a more likely scenario.
I AGREE ZDC! |

| Too many witnesses, plus the passenger and the video from the mother of the passenger. I think the final report will be pilot error here. I had a friend on the scene. Time will tell. If I hear anything final I'll let you know. |

|
|
does anyone know the condition of the fuel tank of remos g3 that crashed in august 2010 @ marana AZ?
are there any post-crash photos available? how did the PAX compartment do?
if there were video's taken during accident there should be some definitive answers to why it happened (stall-spin? airframe? engine?)

This Video has some photos of the AC.
However some of the reporting does not correspond with the FAA report which is still pending
