Don't forget that beginning Sept 30th the terminology will change from "Taxi into position and hold" to "Line up and wait". I just think position and hold sounds so much better.

| Isn't "line up and wait" used before "position and hold"? I think they started using "position and hold" after the Tenerife Disaster in the 70s. |

"Position and hold" has been the standard phraseology until now. The meanings are the same they have just changed the way we say it now. "Position and hold" is being replaced by "Line up and wait". |
