I fly with dual D100's with backup anlog AI, T&B and Altimeter. I don't know if 'glass' is 'better' than analog -- just different. I personally prefer the glass since it allows me to get all the information I need with a single glance.
I also think that, for right or wrong, not having glass will eventually negatively affect resale value of your plane. |

I'm not totally sold on that. It really depends on the airplane. Something like a Tecnam, Remos, Flight Design without glass panel, and yes, I'd say it would probably hurt the resale value. But a Cub, Kitfox or similar type airplane, I don't think a lack of glass hurts the value there at all.
I'd love to get a chance to play with the new Dynon EFIS. It looks awesome, bringing all the advantage's of a low price kit, into the size of a G1000. |

| Agreed. There are classes of planes that analog will probably continue to be the instruments of choice. |

I think it is a personal preference, I like gadgets or toys and decided to go with Glass and gauges as back up. I have 2 Grand Rapids for me in the front seat and in single Grand Rapids in the rear seat. It is easy for me to glance a ether gauge to view the information I am looking for.
Fly planes with both and then decide your preference. Good luck and look forward to seeing your post on what you like best.
