I'm considering buying and Allegro 2007 and have not had a chance to fly one yet. The plane is a good distance from me and am going to have to plan a special trip to get down there to fly it.
Does anyone have any feedback on the Allegro's?
Thanks,

I own a 2006 Allegro 2000... For the price that I paid it is a very good airplane. The 2007 is wider, carries more fuel, and is easier to fly that the 2000. I would rather have a 2007. Depending on what you would have to pay a Allegro 2007 is a great value in an LSA...Well equiped, 100hp, Dynon, Garmin 396. Maybe less that 400 hours, I would think that 65-70K would be a steal.. By the way I bought it in North Carolina and flew it back to Mesa Az over two days.. It was the most fun I have had ever!!
Good luck and go for it! |

Thanks for responding... The plane is down in Florida at a flight school. It has about 400 hours, 100 hp, Dynon 180 and a 496. It was used for training but has had no damage.
Do you find the controls odd with the stick in the center? How much leg room is there for someone 6'2" tall?
By the way I used to live in Cave Creek, AZ. I'll be heading back that way a couple times a year when I get my own plane. We may have to meet sometime when I am out there.
Thanks,
Mark

Mark,
Having never flown anything else prior, the center stick is ok with me.. Seems normal.. Others I have talked to say it just takes a flight or two to get used to it... The 6'2 should be no problem as long as you can bend in the middle to get in... Butt first, then head, then legs is the ONLY way to get in.. Once in very comfortable..Would you mind sharing the price you might be able to get this for??..I would pay 5-7k more to get a 2007 0ver my 2000..The Allegro 2007 does not have some of the bell and whistles that a Remos or a Ct has...But you should be able to save 15-30K because of it.. I went to a fly in, in Page Az with 25 Flight Design Ct's... All the owners accepted me and my Allego 2000. And N3081X held it's own while flying with those guys..By the way what a beautiful place to fly and only 2 hours away from my home airport..
