Hey my name is Kevin. I'm from NJ. I'm a student sport pilot and I started taking SP flight training in February of 2009. However, I stopped taking it in September of 2009 because my flight school went bankrupt and closed down. And since the LSA that I was training in was on a leaseback, that LSA was given back to its owner and I have no place to do SP training.

I hope that an LSA, any LSA will come to NJ so I could resume my flight training. I'm hoping that my top 5 favorite LSAs: C162 Skycatcher, Tecnam Eaglet, Tecnam P2008, Apollo Fox, and the new addition to my fav, the PiperSport, would come to NJ.

Also, I'm from the AOPA Forums so I may know some people here already.

I wish you guys will welcome me and I hope to start posting here soon!

Welcome to the forum, Kevin. Nice to have you onboard. Sorry your flight school fizzled. I realize it's a bit inconvenient for you, but there's a good LSA operation on Long Island, at Brookhaven. Look up Mid Island Flying Service. Or, come out to Central PA and fly with me at Lock Haven in my new SportStar!

Safe skies,
Paul

Hi Kevin, welcome to the forum. I'm a member at the AOPA forums also so I'm familiar with some of your posts there. You'll find a lot of good information and people here. Good luck with your training.
