Just south of Atlanta, GA is a great little place called Peach State Aerodrome. EAA Chapter 468 has their headquarters there- they have pancake breakfasts every so often. There is a great little restaurant there for any other time. They are building a museum on the field to replicate the Atlanta airport of the 1920's and there are antiques, classics... it's a great place to hang out on a nice weekend. Check their website for special events and more info in general:
www.peachstateaero.com . You can even sign up for a e-newsletter.
