This looks like a great forum!

I've been involved in light aviation for the last 15 years, starting with Quicksilver ultralights. I learned to fly in a Quicksilver MXL, and have assisted my dad in a few kit builds. Together we run Oregon Light Sport, out of southern Oregon, and manufacture accessories and modifications for Quicksilvers as well as many other models, including Drifters.

Though busy, I still get out in one of our 2 Quicksilvers when I get a chance. There is nothing that compares to open cockpit flying early on a summer day.

We're just completed a run of heavy duty replacement Quicksilver axles for those unfortunate enough to need one after having bent the stock aluminum axle. These can take quite a beating, which is important for aircraft used for instruction.

Holy mother, it has brakes!

BTW, did you look into providing some support or parts for CGS Hawk?

We haven't worked on the CGS Hawk specifically, and haven't received many requests for support. The closest we've come is the GT400 and GT500, which have similar characteristics.
