Taken from aero-news.net Looks like they were doing "full power cross control spins"' after recovery failed the pilot deployed the BRS. (explains the sparks seen by witnesses) That failed so he bailed out using his own chute. The airplane was a non conforming prototype. The P1 conforming prototype will take it's place in the test program. sounds like a wild ride.
