Any suggestions on a good comm system for a 2 person elsa? I've almost decided on the ICOM A6 radio but could use help with a compatible intercom and helmet/headset.

Still trying to get over the sticker-shock

the sigtronics intercoms work ok but need the volume turned all the way up. I've had a few for a while and no problems in a high noise environment

David clark headsets cost more but seem to survive the abuse better.

PS engineering stuff works well too.

I've not used the new Icom but the older LCD display versions worked great.

Panel mount everything possible to eliminate exposed wires. Use good quality MIL spec jacks and wire. connect shielding as directed.
